Housing

Housing should give people the opportunity to build a life in the community they love.

The Township of Langley is growing, and with that growth comes both opportunity and responsibility. We need housing that meets the needs of young adults starting out, families putting down roots, seniors who want to age in place, and people living with disabilities who deserve homes that adapt to their changing needs.

I support thoughtful growth that includes a range of housing options, including adaptable and accessible housing, while respecting the character of our neighbourhoods and protecting the farmland and green spaces that make Langley unique. Growth should never happen in isolation. Roads, parks, schools, utilities, and emergency services must grow alongside our community.

When housing proposals come before Council, I’ll ask:

I believe good planning isn’t about choosing between growth and preservation. It’s about making thoughtful decisions that create complete, connected neighbourhoods where people can live, work, play, and thrive.
